How to take bookings directly from your website: “embedding” Bookem

You can embed your Bookem public booking page directly in your website, instead of using the public booking page provided by Bookem. This allows you to have full control over the look and feel of your booking page, and it also gives you the ability to track bookings and other data through Google Analytics.

Here's what your technical team need:

  1. Go to Settings - Sharing & integrations.

  2. Copy the embed code snippet.

  3. Paste the embed code snippet in the HTML of your website where you want the booking page to appear.

  4. Make sure that the embed code snippet has a 100% width. This will ensure that the booking page is responsive and looks good on all devices.

Google Tag Manager

If you use Google Tag Manager/GTags on your site, when a booking is completed, the event will be submitted to Google Tag Manager automatically.

On Wix

Here’s how.

Developers, please see the section below.

On WordPress

Embed the snippet as pure HTML, again being mindful of the section below.

A note to developers

  • This is not an iFrame, it's simply a DIV tag. There is no need to embed this in an iFrame. Doing so could also negatively affect the responsive behaviour of the booking section being integrated.

  • Make sure that the embed code snippet is not padded, especially horizontally. This will also ensure that the booking page is responsive, i.e. looks good on all devices.
