This article outlines how to allocate credit to an invoice from overpayments or previous credits, ensuring accurate and up-to-date account balances.
Follow these steps:
1. Generate a new invoice either from the booking on your Calendar, or from the client profile (we encourage using the calendar as the starting point)
2. If the client has credit on their account, a notification will appear at the bottom of the invoice
3. Finalise the invoice and click 'Apply credit'. If the credit amount is more than the invoice total, allocate the relevant amount and the balance will be saved for future invoices.
4. Click 'Save & close' / 'Save & send'
