If you've previously deleted a team member, you can restore their profile without immediately giving them access to Bookem again. This allows you to retain their booking history and make them bookable again if needed.
Follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Team members
Click the three-dotted menu (⋮) in the top right corner
Toggle on Show deleted
Find the deleted team member and open their profile
Scroll to the bottom and click 'Undelete'
The team member is restored but 'cannot access Bookem' until re-invited
To give them access again, go to their profile and click 'Invite'
In this example, Simone has been undeleted but can’t log in until she is re-invited:
After undeleting, you may need to update their setup:
To allow them to be booked again:
Re-associate them with the correct locations, groups, and services
Note: A team member’s booking history remains stored in Bookem and on client profiles, even after deletion
It’s important to understand the difference between deleting a team member and revoking their login:
Hides them from your team list
Removes access to Bookem and revokes login
Removes them from calendars, reports, and availability
Use this when someone has permanently left the team and should no longer appear anywhere in Bookem
Blocks them from logging in, but keeps their data, calendar, and history visible
Their profile, appointments, and reports remain intact
Ideal when you want to retain access to their history for reporting or audit purposes
To prevent new bookings, you must also remove them from:
Groups
Associated services
Location availability
Use this when a team member is inactive but you still want to view their past activity
