Bookem currently supports packages, but our approach will become even more seamless in the near future. In the meantime, you can use our effective workaround to offer packages to your clients.
This guide covers how to:
Set up line items for packages
Configure services for package sessions
Book packages
Invoice clients for service packages
Follow these steps to create line items for your packages:
Go to Settings > Payments & Invoicing > Line items > Edit columns
Click +Add column
Create a new line item type called Package
Go to Settings > Payments & Invoicing > Line items
Create a new line item representing the full package at the total price
Add a description and select the Package under Type
Click save
Navigate to Settings > Payments & Invoicing > Line items
Click +New line item
Add zero - value line items for all line items associated with this package
Click save
Go to Settings > Services
Create a service representing a single booking within the package
Ensure Online bookings are toggled off
Add an itemised price using the zero - value line item created in step 3
Click Save
Open the Client Profile in Clients
Navigate to the Accounts tab and generate a full - package invoice reflecting the total price
Add the Package Line Item to bill the client for the full package price
Important: Clients should only submit their paid invoice with all line items after completing all sessions, to ensure full reimbursement from medical aid.
Once the invoice (paid or unpaid) is finalised, you can begin booking sessions, using the service set up in step 4. We recommend setting up recurring bookings.
After each session, add the booking for the single service with a zero value to the same invoice until all package sessions have been used
Ensure that all line item dates match their respective booking dates
Book service
Add bookings to original invoice
You're All Set!
Following these steps ensures your package services are properly set up, booked, and invoiced, allowing you to track all package bookings efficiently. Happy booking!
