Bookem allows you to email open or paid invoices directly to medical aid providers while copying your patient, making claim submissions quick and easy.
Here’s how it works:
Add the medical aid provider as a client
Generate the invoice and enter the medical aid’s email address when sending it
This article covers how to:
Send a claim while generating an invoice from your calendar
Send an existing invoice from the client’s profile
Note: All invoice emails automatically include a PDF attachment and a secure link to view the invoice online
Go to Clients > + New client
Create a client profile for the medical aid, including their name and claims email address
Repeat this process for multiple medical aids to keep their details handy when sending invoices
Generate the invoice and allocate any payments as usual
Click Finalise & send
Add the medical aid’s email address
Customise the email body if needed
Go to the client profile and open the invoice from the Account tab
Click Save & Send
The client’s email address will appear automatically
Add the medical aid’s email address before sending
Edit the email message if needed, then send the invoice
You can view messages sent to a medical aid by opening their client profile and going to the Messages tab. This helps you keep track of all communication and confirm that the invoice was sent
