Bookem supports complex availability to ensure smooth operations and no double bookings.
Bookem helps you manage bookings across:
Multiple locations
Multiple team members
Shared resources like chairs, mats and rooms
Follow these steps:
1. Under Settings > Team members, check that the 'Associated locations' are correct for each team member
In the example below, you can see that Dr Jack Jones works in Sea Point, Dr Sara Thompson works in Rosebank and Sea Point, and Dr Tami de Villiers works in Rosebank
2. Now, go to Settings > Services to check that every service is associated with the correct location and team member
3. If any other resource, like a room or a chair, is required for the service, add this to the service too
In the example above: procedures can only be booked in the procedure room with a specific doctor at a specific location; if any of these are unavailable, the service cannot be booked
4. Lastly, under Availability, each team member needs set up their availability at each location
In the example below, you can see the Rosebank schedule. Dr Tami de Villiers works mornings on Monday and Wednesday and full day on Tuesday, Dr Sara Thompson works full day on Monday and Wednesday, but is not in Rosebank on a Tuesday, and the Procedure room is available all day, every day
Remember to toggle between locations on the calendar while setting up your availability, to do this for all locations
