How to edit data lists

A data list in Bookem is a structured collection of predefined information that helps streamline documentation, invoicing and record-keeping. These lists include standardised medical codes like ICD-10, as well as custom lists such as pain scores, essential medicines, and other frequently used references. By using data lists, healthcare professionals can quickly select relevant information without needing to manually enter details each time. You can easily edit an existing data list or create a new one.

How add a new line to existing data list

1. Go to Settings > Data lists and open the data list you would like to edit

2. Click on any data list item and select the +

3. Add the new value and description, and save

* If your data list is very long, you may find it easier to export the list, update it in a spreadsheet and re import it

How to create a new data list

1. Go to Settings > data lists

2. Click ‘+ New data list’

3. Name your data list and start adding items

4. To manually add items, click ‘+Add item’

6. To upload a data list from your computer Click ‘Import’ 

7. Download the example file to ensure your data list is correctly formatted before importing
