When you send invoices or documents such as referral letters, prescriptions, or sick notes from Bookem, a unique URL is generated. This link provides access to the latest version of the document as a downloadable PDF. Additionally, Bookem automatically creates and sends a static PDF version along with the email or SMS - there is no need for you to manually attach the PDF.
If you make any changes to an invoice or document after sending it, the recipient will always see the latest version when they click on the link. However, the original static PDF attachment remains unchanged. This means:
If the recipient accesses the document via the link, they will view the most recent version
If they open the attached PDF, they will see the version that was initially sent
To ensure the recipient receives the most up-to-date PDF as an attachment, you will need to resend the document. This generates a new static PDF and delivers it via email or SMS with the latest details.
