Adding voice recordings to a document

Bookem allows you to attach audio files to your documents in three different ways.

  1. Add a voice recording from a third party app

  2. Use the microphone to add a voice recording

  3. Use speech - to - text

Add a voice recording from a third party app

1. Save the recording to your device using an app like iOS or macOS's Voice Memos

2. Open your Bookem Calendar and go to the client whose notes you want to edit

3. Select the 'Documents' tab or click 'Documents ^' under the client name

4. Create a new document or choose an existing one to edit

5. At the bottom of the document, click the paperclip icon to attach a file

  • Select 'Media picker' or browse your device files for the voice recording

  • Click on the file to insert it

Use the microphone to add a voice recording

1. Open your Bookem Calendar and go to the client whose notes you want to edit

2. Select the 'Documents' tab or click 'Documents ^' under the client name

3. If you only want an audio file, click the round recording icon

4. The icon turns red while recording and stops when tapped off

5. Save your voice recording to the document

Using speech-to-text

1. Open your Bookem Calendar and go to the client whose notes you want to edit

2. Select the 'Documents' tab or click 'Documents ^' under the client name

3. At the bottom of the document, click the microphone icon to start recording speech to text

4. The icon turns red while recording and stops when tapped off
