Making client notes private in Bookem documents

Documents, such as patient notes, referral letters, and sick notes, can be marked as private to restrict access from other team members. This ensures confidentiality and protects sensitive information.

Important Note:

Your privacy preference will be remembered automatically, so you don’t have to manually set it each time a new document is created. This helps streamline your workflow while maintaining security.

To lock a document

Follow these steps:

1. Generate a new document from a booking in your calendar

2. Click the open lock icon at the top left of the note, the lock icon will change from open to closed, indicating that the note is now locked

Important: All of your future documents will now be locked and not visible to your team members

To unlock a document

Follow these steps:

1. Open a locked document in Documents, or from the client profile

2. Click the closed lock icon at the top left of the note

3. The lock icon will change from closed to open, indicating that the note is now unlocked

All of your future documents will now be visible to all team members
